Cutlass Saw Operator

Pay: $16.00/hour

Shift: 1st Shift | 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Responsibilities: Operate Cutlass saw equipment to cut foam materials according to work orders and specifications. Set up and adjust the saw for different materials, sizes, and cutting requirements. Read and follow production orders, measurements, and instructions. Measure foam before and after cutting to ensure accuracy. Safely load, position, and feed foam materials through the saw. Monitor cutting operations and make basic adjustments as needed. Inspect finished foam pieces for proper dimensions, quality, and defects. Identify and report material or equipment issues to the supervisor. Handle, stack, and stage completed foam products for the next production process. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance on equipment. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Minimize material waste while maintaining accurate cuts. Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards. Work effectively with team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications: Previous experience operating saws, cutting equipment, or manufacturing machinery preferred. Manufacturing, production, woodworking, or foam-cutting experience is a plus. Ability to read measurements and follow written work instructions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable working around production machinery. Ability to lift, move, and handle foam materials. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Willingness to learn equipment and production processes.
