Lucky Spot Barbershop is growing and expanding! Our South Tryon location is looking for new barbers to join our team!!You must have a current license to cut hair and have completed a barber training program. While we focus on men’s hairstyles, you should be comfortable using a variety of hairstyling techniques for different customers. You must have strong communication and customer service skills; we want all of our customers to enjoy being in our barbershop and leave satisfied with their cut so that they become regular customers.
Barber Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet clients as they arrive and offer them refreshments.
- Prep clients for their haircut and ask what type of styling they want.
- Cut and style clients’ hair to their specifications.
- Engage in friendly conversation with clients.
- Keep your station, tools, and equipment sanitized and in good condition.
- Ensure you have the proper products in stock for future clients.·Barber Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Barber/hairstylist license with "behind the chair" experience.
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and time-management abilities
- Attention to detail.
