Senior Retail Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a PT Senior Sales Associate for our Store 7609. In this part-time retail role, you’ll lead by example on the sales floor, helping students, parents, and educators find the right instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. You’ll drive sales and lesson enrollment, execute merchandising and inventory tasks, and support store opening/closing as a keyholder. Working in our collaborative, student-focused culture, you’ll build lasting customer relationships, promote music education in the community, and grow your retail career in a mission-driven environment. Deliver exceptional customer service to students, parents, and educators on the sales floor Recommend and sell instruments, rentals, accessories, and music lessons to meet customer needs Drive lesson program enrollment and promote educational services Perform keyholder duties including assisting with store opening and closing procedures Operate POS system accurately and handle cash and transactions securely Maintain merchandising standards and ensure products are well-stocked and presented Support basic inventory tasks including receiving, tagging, and cycle counts Build relationships with local schools and music educators to support community engagement Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally Contribute to a collaborative, student-focused, and performance-oriented store culture Retail sales Customer service Point-of-sale (POS) systems Cash handling Product merchandising Inventory management Music product knowledge Sales reporting Lesson program enrollment Communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Retail sales training or certification (preferred) Point-of-sale (POS) system proficiency Music performance or education background (preferred)
