Director / Disputes and Advisory GroupTYG is partnering with a fast-growing consultancy that is seeking to appoint a Director to join its growing Disputes and Advisory group. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to: Shape and grow a high-performing disputes team Drive the continued expansion of the firm’s regional presence Lead high-profile expert and advisory assignments across construction and infrastructure
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team delivering advisory and expert services in construction disputes, with a focus on delay and cost issues
- Oversee the preparation, strategy, and presentation of claims for clients across major infrastructure and commercial projects
- Provide expert analysis and strategic guidance on complex project disputes
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships and supporting ongoing engagements
- Play an instrumental role in expanding the firm’s footprint in the region, including contributing to winning new work and developing new client relationships
Requirements:- Strong background in construction disputes and advisory work, particularly in delay and/or quantum
- Mandatory experience acting as a named Expert Witness, including testimony in arbitration, deposition, or trial
- Proven track record of leading expert appointments or delivering substantial expert support work
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to business development
- Ability to support growth initiatives and ideally bring an established book of business
- Prior experience in a consultancy or expert witness environment required
