To support corporate financial operations, the full-time Senior Accountant - Nevada Licensed will manage the preparation of monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad hoc accounting projects while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
Key responsibilities:
Record transactional activity accurately in the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements
Evaluate and implement internal controls to ensure effective operational processes
Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, including compliance with regulatory requirementsRequired qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
3+ years of relevant experience in auditing or accounting
Experience in preparing and reviewing general ledger account reconciliations
Familiarity with financial reporting, including P&L review
Preferred experience in the gaming industry and knowledge of MGM Resorts financial systems
