Do you enjoy the outdoors? Staying active? Are you a hard worker that enjoys getting your hands dirty? Look no further; this may be the job for you! AquaPoint Irrigation is seeking a full-time irrigation technician in the Chippewa Valley starting in mid-April. AquaPoint offers both irrigation installations as well as irrigation maintenance services.
Duties Include:
- Installation of irrigation systems
- Servicing existing systems
- Use of Ditch Witch pipe puller, once fully trained
- Willingness to assist From the Ground Up landscaping crew when requested
Qualifications:
- Previous irrigation experience preferred but not required
- Motivated with a desire to learn
- Possess a positive work ethic and good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as with others
- Good communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be at least 16 years old
Position requirements:
- Ability to actively work on feet for an entire day
- Job consists of being outside in various elements (heat, cold, wet)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Typical hours range Monday – Friday between 7am – 5pmMust be willing to work 35+ hours per week
- Seasonal job:· Optional year round employment available assisting with plowing, snow blowing and snow shoveling duties
Pay/Benefits: $20.00 - $30.00/hour (based on experience and growth in the company)
