Job Responsibilities:
- Assist inimplementing occupationaltherapy treatment plans under thesupervision of an Occupational
- TherapistGuide patientsthrough therapeutic activitiesfocused on improving dailyliving skills
- Monitor patientprogress and report anychanges or concerns to the supervising
- OccupationalTherapistEducate patients and caregivers onadaptivetechniques and proper use of equipment
- Maintainaccurateand timely documentation of treatments and patientprogress
- Ensure compliance with facility policies andregulatory standards
Requirements:
- Active state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistantin California
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of 6months of recent COTA experience within the last 5 yearspreferred
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility orgeriatric setting is a plus
- Strong communication andinterpersonal skills
