Job Description:
Now hiring experienced Slitter Operators! We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Slitter Operator to assist in the production process at a leading global printing company.
Schedule: 12 hour rotating shifts, 2/2/3Day: 7am-7pmNight: 7pm-7amDuties Include
Set up, operate, and monitor slitting machines to accurately cut materials according to specific job orders Utilize measurement tools to inspect finished products for quality Maintain records of production runs, measurements, and quality inspections Inspect slit rolls for surface defects, wrinkles, etc.
Qualifications:- 2+ years of experience in a printing manufacturing environment operating slitter machine
- Familiarity with measurement techniques using precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of machinability of different paper weights, sizes, kinds and colors so as to be able to identify paper conditions
