The Zeal Company (TZCO) is a technology holdings company that creates, acquires, operates and invests in businesses built for the long term. We provide capital, technology and operational support. Our approach is hands on, highly technical, geared towards building with outlier talent with "forever timeline". TZCO is built by founders and quality shareholders.
Our team is small, highly motivated and focused on operational excellence. This organization is for individuals who appreciate challenging themselves and thrive on curiosity in unstructured environments. We operate with a flat organizational structure. All team members are expected to be hands on and to contribute directly to the company's mission. Leadership is given to those who show initiative and consistently deliver excellence. Work ethic and strong prioritization skills are important. All team members are expected to have strong communication skills.
All team members become owners and are expected to behave as such and share the upside created. Incentive design is important.
About the Role:
We build with people who have founder instincts. This role is designed for individuals who are not just looking for a job but are working toward building something of their own.
While you are deployed across TZCO's portfolio, you are encouraged to develop and pressure-test your own ideas. We create space and time for that. If you have a thesis you want to explore or an early concept you want to stress-test in the real world, we want to know about it. You will have access to operators, investors and builders across our network who can help you sharpen your thinking.
As we build trust with each other over time, TZCO aims to be a natural partner for what comes next, whatever that looks like for you. No commitments on either side, but a unique relationship built on aligned incentives.
Who You Are:
You are building toward something. You may not have the full picture yet, but the direction is clear to you.
You are hands on. You can build, sell, operate. You do not wait for a team to start.
You have high standards for your own work. You hold yourself accountable before anyone else does.
You are honest about what you know and what you do not. You seek out the people who can fill the gaps.
You move with urgency. You understand that speed matters and you act accordingly.
You want a partner, not an employer. You are looking for aligned incentives and shared commitment.
