Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiology Physician for a full-time independent contractor (1099) opportunity in Richmond, Indiana. Join a collaborative team of 10 anesthesiologists in a practice built on teamwork, equality, and physician autonomy. This position offers a broad mix of inpatient and outpatient anesthesia, a manageable 1:8 primary call rotation, and the opportunity for ownership in a joint venture surgery center. Practice Highlights Independent contractor (1099) model Collaborative team of 10 anesthesiologists Practice philosophy centered on teamwork and equality Primary call rotation of 1:8 Opportunity for ownership in a joint venture ambulatory surgery center Epic EMR 14 operating rooms No CRNA supervision responsibilities No neurosurgery cases Practice Setting Inpatient and outpatient anesthesia services Main campus includes: Inpatient surgical services Outpatient surgery Mother-Baby Unit Diverse case mix across multiple surgical specialties, excluding neurosurgery Responsibilities Provide high-quality anesthesia care for inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans. Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures. Manage post-anesthesia recovery and patient safety. Participate in a 1:8 primary call rotation. Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and the anesthesia team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic.

Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Board certification must be obtained within five years of residency completion, if applicable Active Indiana medical license or eligibility through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) BLS certification required ACLS certification required if requesting conscious sedation privileges Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation Signing bonus
