Safety Monitor
Pay range:
$16.50 - $16.69/hr This position does not have BBCHS Benefits. High School Diploma, Experience working with the public and/or juveniles, (such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable) Term Of Employment: Nine Months (Part-Time) when students are in session, 7:30 – 11:30a OR 11:30a – 3:30pReports to: Assistant Principals
Description: This position will be responsible for assisting in maintaining school security.
Job Responsibilities:- Supervise hallways during passing periodsSupervise cafeterias during lunch periodsSupervise parking lots
- Report suspicious activity to Assistant Principals
- Escort students to and from offices
- Responsible for checking student passes
- Monitor the school radio
Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for prolonged periods of time. May also be required to assist in the lifting/carrying of objects.
Assume any other duties or responsibilities that the principal or superintendent might deem necessary in the operation of the District.

By the Board of Education Performance Appraisal:
The assistant principals shall provide periodic evaluations of job performance.
