Job Description:
We are seeking reliable and skilled Punch Press Operators / Metal Fabrication Technicians to join our team. In this vital role, you will set up and operate various laser and sheet metal fabrication equipment to produce high-quality components to precise specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CO and fiber laser machinery for accurate metal cutting operations.
Perform precise laser cutting and shaping of metal parts in accordance with blueprints and technical requirements.
Set up, program, and operate press brake machinery for sheet metal forming.
Execute forming, bending, and shaping of metal components per blueprint or gauge settings, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Assist with metal finishing tasks such as grinding, sanding, deburring, tumbling, and polishing as required.
Safely handle materials throughout forming, cutting, and bending processes.
Change and adjust tooling, dies, and punches based on production needs.
Skills & Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and execute tasks according to design requirements.
Use of measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, protractors, and angle finders for precision fabrication.
Inspection of finished parts to ensure adherence to accuracy and quality standards.
Competence in machine setup and conducting first-piece inspections to validate equipment readiness.
Basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure continuous quality production.
Efficient completion of work orders while maintaining project deadlines and specifications.
Requirements:
Prior experience with laser cutting machines, press brakes, or similar metal fabrication equipment is preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
