Data Management Training Opportunity

Year Up United is offering a Data Management Training Opportunity for motivated young adults interested in launching careers in data-focused roles. In this full-time, structured program, you’ll learn data management fundamentals, relational databases, SQL, and Excel while gaining hands-on experience through projects and employer-aligned curriculum. You’ll practice data quality, documentation, and reporting, and build professional skills such as communication and collaboration. Guided by coaches and mentors, you’ll prepare for internships or entry-level data roles with inclusive employer partners committed to diverse talent. Participate fully in structured data management and professional skills training Learn and apply basics of databases, SQL, and spreadsheets to real-world projects Support data entry, data quality checks, and simple reporting tasks under supervision Document data processes and follow data governance and security guidelines Collaborate with peers in team-based assignments and presentations Engage with coaches, mentors, and instructors to track progress and set goals Prepare resumes, portfolios, and interview skills for data-related roles Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and growth mindset throughout the program Data management fundamentals Relational databases basics SQL querying Excel or Google Sheets Data quality and cleansing Data governance concepts CRM or data platform usage Basic data analysis and reporting Documentation and data standards Professional communication Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CompTIA Data (preferred) Google Data Analytics Certificate (preferred) Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals (preferred)
