Essential Functions: Promptly greet every service customer in a friendly, courteous manner. Listen to customers' reasons for bringing their vehicle to the service department. Recommend appropriate diagnostic services or repairs to address customers' concerns. Provide accurate estimates for all the services or repairs recommended. Maintain open communication with technicians and the shop foreman regarding job status updates. Handle minor customer complaints and/or misunderstandings with courtesy, tact, and in a manner that does not exacerbate the issues. Make policy adjustments within management-established guidelines and budgets. Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously, and make every effort to satisfy the caller's inquiry. Write and complete work orders, explain the work done to the customer, and collect payments. Strive to ensure that every customer is very satisfied with the level of service the shop offers. Provide superior customer service at all times. Make yourself available for and complete all required and additional training the Company offers. Perform other duties as required by management.
