About the Role:
As a Plate Mounter, you ensure flawless press runs by converting specifications into exact cylinder setups. Ideal for detail-oriented candidates with mechanical aptitude.
What You’ll DoPrecision Mounting: Review job tickets and mount plates accurately to ensure registration-perfect runs.
Quality Inspection: Check proofs for accurate layout, impression, and color alignment.
Maintenance & Safety: Perform basic machine checks and follow zero-incident safety standards.
Collaboration: Partner with press operators and leads to streamline production.
What Makes You a Great FitExperience: Flexographic plate mounting or press setup experience preferred.
Technical Aptitude: Able to read specs, use micrometers/tape measures, and perform basic setup math.
Quality Focus: Visual accuracy to inspect proofs and differentiate colors.
Physical Requirements:- Capable of standing for 12-hour shifts and lifting up to 75 lbs.

- ResponsibilitiesPrecision Setup & Mounting: Review job tickets, verify cylinders, sticky-backs, and plates, and mount plates precisely to ensure trouble-free registration on press.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect completed proofs to ensure accurate copy, layout, impression, and registration before handing off to the press team.
- Preventative Care: Perform basic machine checks and routine preventive maintenance to keep operations moving efficiently.
- Teamwork: Work closely with department leads, press operators, and maintenance staff to maintain high-quality output.
- Continuous Improvement: Share your ideas to optimize mounting speeds and maintain a safe workspace.
- ZPMLSTCMThe essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environmentwearing steel toe shoesmanual lifting up to 50lbsstanding for 6 hours at one timeworking up to 9 hrs of overtime per weekworking weekends
- Skillsflexographic plate mounting (2 years of experience is preferred)
