Location: Mesa, AZ or Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range: $120,000-$160,000 + truck allowance and gas card
A rapidly growing electrical contractor specializing in mission-critical facilities is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its team in Mesa, Arizona or Phoenix, AZ. The organization is known for its expertise in delivering high-quality electrical installations in complex, mission-critical environments where safety, quality, and schedule adherence are paramount.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects, with an emphasis on Data Centers.
Review plans, specifications, drawings, and bid documents to develop detailed project estimates.
Perform material, labor, and equipment takeoffs.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
Analyze project risks, scope gaps, and value engineering opportunities.
Collaborate with project managers, operations teams, and leadership throughout the bidding process.
Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and scope review meetings as needed.
Maintain accurate estimating databases and historical cost information.
Assist in developing proposals and bid packages for clients.
Requirements:
4+ years of Electrical Estimating experience.
Proven experience estimating Data Center construction projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, installation methods, and industry standards.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Experience estimating large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Required Software Experience
AccubidBluebeam/Revu
Electrical Takeoff software
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working for an electrical contractor.
Familiarity with design-build and negotiated project delivery methods.
Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong understanding of current market pricing and procurement strategies.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 Vehicle Allowance
