Director of Product Management, Hardware

What the role actually isApptronik is hiring a senior product leader to own hardware product management across Apollo, related peripherals, and core components. The role sits between robotics engineering, manufacturing, commercialization, and customer-facing teams. This is not a narrow feature PM role. It is product ownership for the physical platform itself: deciding what hardware capabilities matter, how they sequence, and how they support the humanoid's path from pilots into scaled deployments. What you would work onDefine hardware product vision and roadmap for Apollo and related systems Translate customer outcomes, manufacturing constraints, and field needs into product priorities Partner with engineering and manufacturing leaders on build, release, and scaling decisions Build the product management function around Apptronik's hardware portfolio What they are asking forProduct leadership experience with complex hardware, robotics, or hardware/software systems Ability to turn technical constraints and market signals into a coherent roadmap Comfort working across engineering, operations, manufacturing, sales, and customers Experience leading or building product teams in a high-ambiguity environment Why this one is worth a lookHumanoid robotics needs product leadership that treats the machine as a deployable product, not just a research platform. This role is interesting because it owns the hardware decisions that shape what Apollo can realistically do for customers in the field.
