Key Responsibilities: Perform brazing operations on heat exchanger assemblies using torch, furnace, or induction brazing methodsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructionsPrepare components for brazing, including cleaning, fitting, and alignment of partsSelect appropriate brazing materials (alloys, fluxes) based on specificationsInspect completed joints to ensure proper bonding, strength, and leak preventionConduct pressure and leak testing as requiredMaintain proper temperature control and monitor heating cycles during brazing processesEnsure compliance with company quality standards and customer specificationsFollow all safety procedures, including proper handling of gases, torches, and high-temperature equipmentPerform routine maintenance on brazing equipment and toolsDocument production activities and report defects or non-conformancesQualifications: High school diploma or GED required1–3+ years of brazing experience, preferably in heat exchanger or similar manufacturing environmentsStrong understanding of brazing techniques, materials, and metallurgy basicsAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsExperience with torch brazing, vacuum furnace brazing, or induction brazing preferredFamiliarity with quality standards and inspection methodsBasic math and measurement skills (calipers, gauges, etc.)Ability to work in high-temperature environmentsSkills & Competencies: Strong attention to detail and workmanship qualityManual dexterity and steady hand-eye coordinationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProblem-solving and troubleshooting skillsTime management and ability to meet production deadlinesWork Environment: Manufacturing/production floor environmentExposure to heat, fumes, and industrial equipmentRequired use of PPE (gloves, safety glasses, protective clothing, respirators as needed)
