HVAC Service Technician

Bass Air Conditioning is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to service residential and light commercial customers across the Fayetteville, NC area. In this field-based role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems, perform seasonal tune-ups, and assist with equipment installations. You’ll use your technical skills and safety mindset to provide reliable, energy-efficient solutions while delivering clear, courteous communication to customers. Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems Perform routine preventive maintenance and system tune-ups Install and start up HVAC equipment and components as needed Use meters and diagnostic tools to identify system issues safely Explain findings, options, and maintenance recommendations to customers Document work performed, parts used, and system condition accurately Follow company and OSHA safety procedures on every job Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in good condition Collaborate with dispatch and team members to meet schedule commitments Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs HVAC troubleshooting Installation of HVAC systems Preventive maintenance Reading blueprints and schematics Refrigeration systems knowledge Electrical diagnostics Brazing and soldering Use of HVAC tools/meters Customer service EPA regulations compliance Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k EPA 608 Certification NATE certification (preferred) Valid driver’s license HVAC technical training or apprenticeship OSHA safety training (preferred)
