Machine Operator Elwood Staffing is looking for a dependable, experienced Machine Operator for an anodizing company located near Mentone, IN! This position involves working in an industrial manufacturing/foundry-type environment around processing tanks, heated oil, and metal parts. - Machine Operator Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position$ 16.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:00pm)
- Operate and monitor chromate processing equipment
- Load and unload metal parts into processing tanks
- Handle materials throughout the finishing process
- Work around heated oil, tanks, and industrial equipment
- Monitor parts throughout the treatment process Inspect finished parts for quality and defects
- Assist with basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
- Safely work from an elevated catwalk approximately 3 feet off the ground
Machine Operator Qualifications:- Previous machine operating experience REQUIREDMust be comfortable working in a factory/foundry-type environment
- Must be comfortable working around heated oil, processing tanks, and industrial machinery
- Must be able to safely move around and work on a catwalk approximately 3 feet off the ground
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical work throughout the shift
- Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail
- Must be dependable with good attendance and a stable work history
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
