Although the regular schedule is 7:00 AM–3:45 PM, associates must be available to work extended 10-hour shifts and weekends when required. Most overtime will be scheduled on the back end of the regular shift, meaning associates may be required to remain at work beyond 3:45 PM.Please do not apply if you are unable to work mandatory overtime, extended shifts, or weekends.
Position Overview:
PDS Tech Commercial is hiring Production Associates to join the Work Order Department at Protective Industrial Products (PIP) in Olive Branch. Associates will perform hands-on production and general warehouse duties involving the handling, organizing, processing, and packaging of products. This position requires dependable attendance, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Unpack, sort, organize, fold, process, and repack products as assigned
- Prepare products and work orders accurately according to instructions
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy
- Package and prepare completed products for the next stage of production
- Perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift
- Stand and work for extended periods
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet daily productivity and quality expectations
- Follow supervisor instructions and all PIP safety procedures
- Assist with additional production or warehouse duties as needed
Requirements:
- Must be available for mandatory overtime
- Must be able to work 10-hour shifts when requiredMust be available to work weekends when requiredMust be available for the regular 7:00 AM–3:45 PM schedule
- Dependable transportation to Olive BranchStrong attendance and punctuality
- Comfortable performing repetitive work and standing for extended periods
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain production expectations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide acceptable documentation establishing identity and employment authorization as required for Form I-9Compensation
Regular Pay: $14.00/hourOvertime Pay: $21.00/hourOvertime availability is an essential requirement of this position and may include extended weekday shifts and weekend work based on business needs.
