The position supports trauma coverage through collaboration with surgical teams, contributes to stroke care services, and participates in a broad range of acute presentations across dedicated emergency care areas.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine.
- Residency training in emergency medicine.
- Training or experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Florida.
- ATLS certification, with ACLS and PALS required when board eligible.
COMPETENCIES:- Ability to manage diverse emergency conditions across specialized treatment areas.
- Skill in working within a high acuity, high volume emergency setting.
- Effective collaboration with trauma surgery and multidisciplinary teams.
- Capacity to utilize modern diagnostic tools and industry standard EMR.
- Commitment to maintaining clinical quality and operational efficiency. WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient
- Large emergency department with multiple clinically designated units.
- Collaboration with trauma surgery, pediatric emergency care, and obstetric emergency services.
- Use of advanced imaging technology and industry standard EMR.
- Access to helipad transport resources and specialized treatment areas.
- Physician participation in governance and operational planning.
