SafeLogic Alaska is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing safety consulting, staffing, and training firm. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to manage people, create accountability, improve processes, and make sound business decisions independently. We’re looking for an experienced operator who can bring structure and consistency to a growing organization while maintaining a positive, engaging workplace.
What You’ll Do:- Lead and develop a team of approximately 20–30 employees
- Oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow

- Coach employees, conduct performance reviews, and address performance concerns
- Improve processes, SOPs, and operational systems
- Oversee AP/AR, collections, payroll coordination, budgeting, and job costing
- Monitor project delivery, utilization, and operational performance
- Support client relationships, proposals, and new business opportunities
- Manage hiring and onboarding as the company grows
- Make confident day-to-day decisions and resolve issues without constant direction
What We’re Looking For:- 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in senior management or operational leadership
- Experience managing a business, branch, department, or practice
- Experience with a $2M+ operating budget or comparable P&L responsibility
- Proven people-management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and difficult conversations

- Confident, emotionally intelligent, self-directed leadership style
- Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office and business management systems

- Performance-based incentive bonus 401(k) with company match after eligibility period
- Paid time off and holidays
- Continuing education and professional development
- Potential relocation assistance for the right candidate
