Key Responsibilities:
Conduct compassionate and ethical mental health counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for clients.
Utilize effective solution-focused treatment modalities that resonate with clients' individual needs and circumstances.
Craft personalized treatment plans that align with client goals and promote sustainable mental health improvement.
Guide clients in developing insights related to their emotions, experiences, and interpersonal relationships, fostering greater self-awareness.
Regularly assess client progress throughout the treatment plan, adapting approaches as necessary and supporting healthy coping strategies.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Samaritan Counseling Solutions, you will work with a diverse array of clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our focus is on providing tailored therapeutic support to individuals, ensuring they receive the most relevant care based on their unique life situations.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
Current and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Arizona is mandatory.
Ability to practice independently without direct supervision, demonstrating strong decision-making skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to help clients navigate their mental health journeys.
Proficiency with technology and comfort in using digital tools for teletherapy and client management.
Preferred Experience
Experience in evidence-based counseling modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), is highly preferred.
Previous work in a telehealth setting or remote counseling is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with working with specific populations, such as veterans, children, or those in crisis, is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
