Carencro, LA: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator for a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Pay ranges from per hour. This position involves sewing straps onto industrial bags and other safety equipment with precision and consistency.
Essential Duties:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to sew straps onto industrial bags and safety equipment
- Measure, align, and position materials according to specifications
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Requirements/Skills:
- Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines preferred
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Ability to use hands repetitively for sewing and handling materials
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
