Progressive Care Registered Nurse

Doctors Hospital of Augusta seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional, evidence-based care to moderately complex patients in our state-of-the-art facility. In this role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, manage cardiac and telemetry monitoring, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to progressive care patients. Continuously monitor and assess patient status, including cardiac and telemetry monitoring. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans. Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record. Support a culture of safety, quality improvement, and clinical excellence. Mentor newer staff and participate in ongoing professional development.
