About mediaROI mediaROI is a marketing measurement SaaS platform based in Paris, at Station F. We help advertisers understand what their media investments actually return, bringing three approaches together in a single tool: Marketing Mix Modeling (Bayesian model, updated as often as monthly), calibrated attribution (recalibrated daily against MMM results to correct last-touch bias) and incrementality (geo lift, A/B tests, conversion lift).
Our clients are large advertisers in retail, e-commerce, automotive, beauty, travel and consumer goods. We are a growing team, and we cover three markets in Europe: France, Spain and Germany.
The role:
We are opening the Spanish market. Alongside the Head of Sales Spain, you take charge of the delivery of the measurement programmes of Spanish advertisers, from the first onboarding through to the final readouts.
This is a hands‑on role with a high degree of autonomy: you will be mediaROI’s first operational hire in Spain, in daily contact with the Operations team in Paris, who will train you on our methodology and remain your point of support.
This is not a pure modelling role. The value lies in the interpretation, and in the ability to defend a result in front of a marketing team.
Your missions Onboard the first Spanish clients: connecting the data sources, quality control, initial calibration.
Run the MMM study cycle end to end: preparing and validating the data and inputs, runs, checking and challenging the outputs.
Turn the results into concrete budget allocation and media mix recommendations.
Build the readouts and present them to the client’s marketing and media teams, in Spanish.
Be the day‑to‑day operational contact of Spanish advertisers.
Support the Head of Sales Spain on technical meetings and demonstrations.
Adapt our methodology to the specifics of the Spanish media market and document them for the team.
The profile we are looking for Essential 3 to 6 years’ experience in advertising measurement (e.g. attribution, brand lift, marketing mix modeling, A/B testing), gained in an agency, a market research institute, a media owner or on the advertiser side.
A rigorous, precise and reliable approach to data, with high quality standards.
A good command of advertising measurement KPIs: you can explain a result, challenge it and defend it in front of a marketing audience.
Solid media literacy: you speak ROAS, CAC, media mix, saturation and channel complementarity.
Strong communication and teaching skills, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of the Spanish media market and its players.
Native or equivalent Spanish, professional English.
Autonomy and an appetite for starting things up: you are the first operational hire on your market.
Nice to have:
Client‑facing experience in an agency, a market research institute or consulting.
Exposure to incrementality testing (geo lift, conversion lift).
Comfort with statistical languages: SQL and Python or R.
Knowledge of the Digital ecosystems (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Amazon, DV360, etc.) or TV.
Experience in the retail, e-commerce or consumer goods sectors.
Some French, without it being a prerequisite.
Why join us:
A small team where your work shows immediately, with no intermediate layer of validation.
A demanding technical subject, scientific marketing measurement, applied to significant media budgets.
Direct contact with advertisers’ marketing and media teams, not just with files.
A fast‑moving product platform, on which your feedback from the field carries weight.
The opening of a market: you build the Spanish delivery rather than joining an organisation that is already set.
Terms Contract: full‑time, employment via Deel (mediaROI has no local entity in Spain at this stage).
Location:
Spain, Madrid or Barcelona preferred, remote working. Occasional travel to Paris.
Compensation: based on experience.
Start date: on signature of the first Spanish contracts.
