APPLY NOW (opens in a new tab)Field Service Engineer Insight Global is looking for Field Service Engineers to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be responsible for traveling to different sites to do installations of the equipment. The first 15 days they will designate what tool set they will be working on and what customers they will be helping do installations for. From there, the first 30 days they will be scheduled for a 3 week training. They will then be traveling every 6-8 weeks to different locations to install the equipment, where they will go home after week 6 each time for an admin week. On top of installations, they will be assisting in troubleshooting, repairs and routine maintenance on the equipment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong troubleshooting skills - ability to speak on thought process on maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems
- Experience using a Multimeter - Continuity Checks, Amperage, Voltage, Resistance
- Experience working with a torque wrench
- Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out Process (LOTO)
- Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience supporting semiconductor equipment
- Military experience in the following MOS's:
- Avionics Technician
- Load Master
- Electronics Technician
- Vehicle Tech
- Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment
