Requirements:
Associate's degree and 1 year Surgical Technology or Sterile Processing experience in a healthcare related setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Certification as a sterile processing technician strongly preferred.
Knowledge of surgical instrumentation/equipment and sterile processing essential.
Responsibilities:
Performs decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments.
Prepares sterile trays and ensures quality control compliance.
Participates in the development processes and procedures in the care and assembly of surgical instruments.
Works with clinical staff to manage instrument inventory and availability.
