Maintenance Technician We are seeking reliable Maintenance Technicians for a potential-to-hire opportunity in a manufacturing environment in Spring, TX. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and responding to emergency repairs to support continuous production operations.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:- Perform routine machine cleaning and scheduled preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment issues
- Respond to non-scheduled and emergency maintenance needs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance shop equipment safely
- Complete assigned maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Lead
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Organize and maintain maintenance supplies and consumables
- Follow all quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements
- Requirements for Maintenance Technician:
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Strong electro-mechanical aptitude
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and electrical equipment
- Experience using electrical test equipment
- Ability to safely use hand tools and portable power tools
- Ability to read and write in English or Spanish
- Ability to work a night shift schedule (Monday-Saturday)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent lifting and moving of materials up to 50 pounds
- Good hand-eye coordination
