They’re looking for aPartnerships Scientistwho combines strong scientific credibility with an outgoing, entrepreneurial and commercially minded personality.
The Opportunity:
This is a chance to move from science into a highly external, commercial role while staying deeply connected to cutting-edge biology. You’ll work directly with leading scientists, PIs, universities and research institutions to identify valuable scientific programs and build partnerships around human biological data. You do not need previous BD experience. We’re particularly interested in exceptional scientists who naturally enjoy building relationships and want to move towards the business side of biotech.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with leading PIs, researchers, universities and academic medical centers
- Identify scientifically valuable human biological datasets and research programs
- Originate and develop new scientific partnerships
- Evaluate opportunities across genomics, multi-omics and biomedical data
- Work across scientific, commercial, legal and institutional stakeholders
- Help take partnerships from initial outreach through diligence, negotiation and launch
Ideal Background:
- PhD ingenomics, computational biology, bioinformatics, molecular biology, neuroscience or a related field
- Strong understanding of modern human biology and biomedical data
- Outgoing, curious and confident speaking with leading scientists
- Entrepreneurial and commercially minded
- Highly proactive, organized and comfortable moving quickly
- Interest inAI and its applications across biology and medicine
- Previous partnerships, licensing, tech transfer or BD experience is useful, butnot required
