Composite Fabrication Technician

Position Overview: As a Composite Fabrication Technician, you will fabricate, assemble, and test composite components and support manufacturing process improvements. This hands-on role includes equipment troubleshooting, process development, and composite layup/fabrication for advanced systems.

Location: On-site in Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Required Qualifications: Associate degree in science/engineering with 2+ years of experience OR high school diploma with 6+ years of experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on manufacturing experience. Proficiency with shop equipment and fabrication tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or in a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SolidWorks is a plus. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE or DOD clearance.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with filament winding, fiber placement, or composite processes. Experience with NQA1, ISO9001, or AS9100 quality programs. Experience in isotope enrichment or fast-paced technical environments. Active DOE Q security clearance highly preferred.
