APPLY NOWWastewater Operator Position Summary:
Perform duties necessary to maintain compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory requirements regarding incoming plant water, wastewater and NPDES storm water.
Minimum Qualifications:
*High School Diploma or GED *Ability to attain knowledge of water, wastewater and NPDES storm water operations. Obtain wastewater license before completion of 1 year of service in this position. *Requires moderate physical exertion. *Possess a valid Class 1 Wastewater License in state of Delaware or upon approval by State office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor water, wastewater and storm water systems and perform corrective action as needed. * Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment. * Reports any equipment malfunctions to the Lead Wastewater Operator * Perform test on water, wastewater and storm water in accordance with proper procedures. * Monitor and record flow meter readings and calculate daily flows. * Follow proper procedures in obtaining all types of water samples. * Maintain equipment used to perform testing and obtaining water samples. * Perform sampling on monitoring wells, house water, wastewater, and storm water. * Adheres to all common safety policies and procedures, including the wearing of protective clothing and equipment as required. * Responsible for following all Company and Government policies and procedures. * Perform other duties as assigned by Management and or Lead Wastewater Operator. *All Qualified Candidates, please contact: Zehra Mahmud * Phone: 302-324-9400 Email resume to: zmahmud@synerfac.com #ZRNC
