Job Responsibilities:
Perform advanced nuclear medicine procedures to support diagnosis and treatment of diseaseOperate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic imagesEnsure patient safety and comfort throughout all proceduresFollow radiation-safety, infection-control, and radioactive-material handling procedures. Maintain accurate patient, dose, imaging, and quality-control documentation. Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
Job Requirements:
- Licensed & Registered with the NYS Department of Health
- Certified by the NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine)
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
- High School Diploma or associate degree requiredSPECT/CT experience.
- CT certification highly desirable
