Commercial Trucking Insurance Producer

About the Role: 1 Terra Vita Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Trucking Insurance Producer to develop new business, build long‐term client relationships, and grow our transportation insurance portfolio. This role focuses exclusively on commercial trucking insurance, including motor carriers, trucking fleets, and transportation businesses.

Key Responsibilities: Prospect and acquire new commercial trucking insurance clients. Build and manage a profitable book of trucking insurance business. Develop relationships with trucking companies, fleet owners, and transportation operators. Coordinate insurance submissions, quotes, renewals, and coverage proposals. Work with transportation underwriters, carriers, MGAs, and wholesalers. Identify opportunities for Commercial Auto Liability, Motor Truck Cargo, Physical Damage, General Liability, and related coverages. Maintain accurate sales pipeline and client activity records in Applied Epic.

Qualifications: Active Illinois Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain one promptly. Strong understanding of trucking insurance markets and underwriting. Established industry relationships and an existing book of business are highly preferred. Strong negotiation, communication, and business development skills.
