- Safety Coordinator Data Center Fort Wayne, INThe Opportunity
- We're hiring an experienced Safety Coordinator to support a major data center construction project in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This opportunity is ideal for a construction safety professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where safety, quality, and teamwork drive project success.
- You'll partner with project leadership and field teams to ensure OSHA compliance, enforce client safety requirements, conduct inspections, and promote a proactive safety culture on one of the region's most significant mission-critical construction projects.
- Compensation$40.00-$45.00 per hour$120/day Per DiemWhat You'll DoConduct daily jobsite safety inspections and audits.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, client standards, and company safety policies.
- Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training.
- Perform Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and assist with pre-task planning.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety observations while recommending corrective actions.
- Monitor PPE compliance, fall protection, lockout/tagout, and electrical safety practices.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, inspections, and regulatory records.
- Partner with project management to identify risks before they become incidents.
- Promote employee engagement and continuous improvement through positive safety leadership.
- What You BringThree or more years of construction safety experience.
- Experience supporting commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with field personnel and subcontractors.
- Required CertificationsOSHA 510STS-CCPR CertificationNFPA 70E Certification

Location & Schedule:
This position is based onsite in Fort Wayne, Indiana, supporting a major data center construction project. Full-time schedule with overtime opportunities available based on project demands. Candidates should be comfortable working in active commercial construction environments and adhering to strict safety standards. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Employment eligibility will be verified at the time of hire.
