Assistant Director Position Available: Part-Time or Full-TimeHoly Family Early Childhood Center is seeking a caring, dependable, and organized Assistant Director to support the daily operations of our Early Childhood Center and work closely with the Director, teachers, children, and families.
Responsibilities:- Assist the Director with daily ECC operations and classroom oversight
- Support and coach teachers with classroom management, routines, transitions, and student engagement
- Monitor classrooms to ensure appropriate supervision, safety, and quality of care
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, and classroom coverage
- Support enrollment, registration, student records, and family communication
- Respond professionally to parent questions and concerns
- Assist with DCF compliance and accreditation requirements
- Support staff training, onboarding, and professional development
- Assist with classroom observations, assessments, and documentation
- Address classroom and staff concerns in a professional and supportive manner
- Step into classrooms and assist with daily operations as needed
- Participate in school events, meetings, and other administrative responsibilities
- Support and uphold the Catholic mission and values of Holy Family Catholic School
Qualifications:- Experience working in an early childhood setting
- Leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience preferred
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Familiarity with Florida DCF requirements and early childhood regulations
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Warm, patient, dependable, professional, and team-oriented
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and work collaboratively
- Must meet Florida DCF background screening and employment requirements
