APPLY NOWOur Client a $20 Bil global hedge fund is seeking experienced CONSUMER DISCRETIONARY Equity Long-Short Portfolio Managers. (Also have other mandates covering Metals & Mining; Healthcare & Biotech; Industrials non-defense/non-energyThe hire will have >5 years’ recent track running a >$200 Mil significant market neutral portfolio with >10% annualized returns and a Sharpe of 1.5min. Can be located in NYC, MIA, LON, SING, HK
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a significant capital allocation >$100 Mil scalable >$1BilMaintain low net delta and ~70%+ idiosyncratic risk attribution.
- Target Volatility of 5- 7% with max drawdown of ~7% of allocated capital/ 3.5 GMVLeverage market & industry fundamental analysis to generate alpha
- Actively manage risk assessing all positions & investment theses
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across research, data, risk, technology, compliance and operations to optimize performance & streamline investment process
Requirements:
- 5+ yr recent track record with > $200 Mil in gross capital and a return profile of >10% and a Sharpe of ~1.5+Proficiency in financial modeling, sector & competitive analysis
- Strong industry connectivity including industry channels & experts, counterparties & 3rd party vendors
- Strong communications skills (verbal & written) & comfortable reporting theses to management and/or investors on a regular basis
- Exceptional decision-making abilities, capable of performing well under pressure
- High caliber individuals with strong character & integrity—essential to the platform’s & teams’ culture
