Job Summary:
We are hiring Housekeepers in Illinois to join our team at a Haven Healthcare–affiliated skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Arcola. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a stable position in healthcare, helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- (Housekeeping Duties)
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
- Follow infection control and sanitation guidelines in a healthcare setting
- Maintain cleanliness of facility equipment and housekeeping carts
- Replenish supplies such as linens, towels, and toiletries
- Handle laundry duties as assigned (washing, drying, folding, distributing)
- Ensure a safe and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors
- Respond to housekeeping requests promptly and professionally
Qualifications:- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (healthcare setting a plus)
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
