Description: American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology RN with critical care (ICU/ER) or radiology nursing experience and TX or compact RN licensure for an 8-week acute care assignment. Details Works in the Main Radiology department's Interventional Radiology (IR) unit in an acute care hospital setting Cares for a mix of outpatients and inpatients as needed, similar to a Cath Lab or Body angel environment Performs procedures including CT scans, interventional medicine, moderate sedation, PICC lines, and anesthesia care Uses Epic EMR Variable 4x10 schedules including 7a-5:30p and 8a-6p shifts Requires flexibility to manage a sometimes very busy caseload Call coverage required on a rotating basis, typically one to two days per month

Requirements: Active TX or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), and NIHSS Radiology nursing experience (interventional radiology/procedural) preferred ICU or ER experience required if no radiology nursing experience Must be able to take call Copy of driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
