APPLY NOWAbout the Position
Santa Lucia is seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to support an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving greater independence and community involvement. This role offers the opportunity to engage in community-based activities, fostering meaningful relationships and promoting a fulfilling lifestyle in the community and at home.
Duties:
Provide transportation and supervision.
Model appropriate behaviors.
Plan and participate in community activities such as the movies, bowling, parks, zoo visits, car rides, or sporting events.
Support individuals in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and assist with daily living skills.
Provide house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation.
Qualifications: Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Driver's License: Valid driver's license required with satisfactory driving record.
Experience:
No prior experience necessary; we provide comprehensive training. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, drug test, and I9.
