Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Controls Wireman / Panel Builder to join a growing manufacturing operation in the St. Louis area. The ideal candidate will have experience wiring industrial electrical control panels, reading electrical schematics, and assembling electrical components.
Job Responsibilities:
Wire and assemble industrial electrical control panels and enclosures.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
Install and wire components such as relays, contactors, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and PLCs.
Route, label, terminate, and organize wiring according to electrical drawings.
Perform point-to-point wiring and verify electrical connections.
Troubleshoot wiring issues and make necessary corrections.
Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in industrial electrical wiring, control panel assembly, or a related field.
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with electrical components and industrial control systems.
Experience with PLC wiring and motor controls is a plus.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Technical school or electrical training is a plus.
