Assembler

Location: Point of Rocks, MD Pay Rate: $17.00/hour + Monthly Production Bonus Schedule: Full-Time (Overtime Available) Job Summary Are you looking to start a career in manufacturing? We are seeking dependable and motivated Assemblers to join a growing production team in Point of Rocks, MD. This hands-on role involves assembling products, operating basic production equipment, performing quality inspections, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. No prior experience is required, and training is provided.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assemble components and products according to specifications. Fasten parts together using bolts, clips, screws, adhesives, and other assembly methods. Measure and cut materials to required dimensions. Inspect products for quality and remove defective items. Operate machinery used in fitting, fastening, and assembly processes. Work at various stations throughout the production area based on business needs. Adapt to changing product lines and production requirements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: No previous experience required; training provided. Experience in assembly, manufacturing, construction, or carpentry is a plus. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements: Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently use hands for handling, assembling, and moving materials. Occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, and balance. Continuously lift up to 25 lbs. Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs. with proper assistance and equipment. Ability to work around moving machinery and in varying temperature conditions.

Work Environment: Manufacturing and production setting. Exposure to machinery, industrial noise, dust, and changing temperatures. Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing and eye protection.
