We're looking for full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis at our automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Clayton, NC area. About the General Service Technician Position As a General Service Technician, you'll perform essential maintenance and tire services that help keep our customers safely on the road. You'll work alongside experienced automotive professionals while developing valuable hands-on skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
- Performing flat tire repairs
- Completing oil and filter changes
- Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
- Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Following established safety and service procedures
- Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles

Qualifications: To be eligible for the General Service Technician position, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be legally authorized to work in the United StatesBe reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment
- Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service
Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.
Physical Requirements:
General Service Technicians must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with automotive and tire service.
