You will collaborate with software, mechanical, solar, and propulsion engineers to develop solutions that meet rigorous performance standards for space applications.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement motion control strategies for precision aerospace mechanisms and subsystems.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate mechatronic solutions into broader system architectures.
Support the testing, validation, and documentation of control systems throughout the hardware development lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.3+ years of experience in motion control, mechatronics, or dynamic systems.
- Familiarity with control system modeling and simulation tools
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and integrating hardware in a lab environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
MS in Control Systems, Robotics, or a related field.
Previous experience with aerospace applications, pointing mechanisms, or optical platforms.
Understanding of environmental testing and qualification standards for space hardware.
