Location: Onsite in Harwood Heights, IL
Status:
Full-time ExemptAs a Staff Accountant, you will play a vital role in our finance team, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial records and analyses.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform reconciliations, ensures accuracy and completeness of financial records, and identifies and resolves discrepancies
- Analyze and interpret financial data to inform business decisions and identify areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain complex financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 1-3 years of experience in accounting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ability to learn new software and systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
