Controls Engineer

Job Title: Controls Engineer Location: Detroit, MI Pay Range: $45-$55/hour (Depending on Experience) What's the Job? Provide production line support for controls logic, PLC, and NC programming using Siemens-based hardware platforms. Design, implement, and maintain control systems for industrial equipment and automated processes. Troubleshoot, test, and debug PLC, CNC, and HMI systems to ensure optimal equipment performance. Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to integrate automation solutions. Support continuous improvement projects focused on production throughput, equipment reliability, and KPI achievement. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.5+ years of experience in controls engineering, industrial automation, or manufacturing environments. Strong experience with PLC programming, preferably Siemens platforms. Knowledge of HMI systems, industrial communication networks, and electrical schematics.
