Qualifications:
Successful graduation from a school giving a course of not less than two years for physical therapist assistants, which has been approved for the educational preparation of physical therapist assistants by the appropriate accrediting agency recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation or the United States Department of Education at the time of her or his graduation and have passed to the satisfaction of the board an examination to determine her or his fitness for practice as a physical therapist assistant Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice as a physical therapist assistant in the state ofPrior experience in Physical Therapy, preferred Member of state and national American Physical Therapy Association, preferred Proficient administrative and public relations skills Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in physical therapy Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the medical staff and other personnel Knowledge of Medicare and third party reimbursement, preferred Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - $7,500 SIGN ON BONUS FOR FULL TIME HIRESWe understand that a significant change in health can be challenging.
