Barista I

Sodexo is seeking a Barista to join our hospitality team within the accommodation and food services industry. In this role, you’ll prepare coffee and espresso beverages, handle cash and POS transactions, and deliver friendly, efficient service to guests. You’ll maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked café area while following food safety and Sodexo quality standards. Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages to Sodexo standards Operate POS system, handle cash, and manage customer transactions accurately Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following food safety guidelines Stock and replenish ingredients, cups, and supplies throughout shifts Provide friendly, efficient customer service and address guest questions or concerns Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines Support opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations Espresso and coffee preparation POS and cash handling Customer service Food safety and sanitation Time management Basic math skills Communication skills Inventory stocking and rotation Cleaning and maintenance Teamwork Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Food handler or food safety certification (preferred)
