A financial services firm is hiring an Azure Infrastructure Engineer to own and enhance its Azure and hybrid cloud environment. You'll serve as the subject matter expert for Azure infrastructure and networking, partnering closely with the security team and a managed service provider.
What You'll Do:- Own the design and operation of core Azure services, governance, and disaster recovery
- Architect and manage Azure networking (VNets, VPN/ExpressRoute, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, DNS)
- Maintain hybrid connectivity to on-prem Windows Server, Active Directory, and Entra IDBuild Infrastructure-as-Code and automate operations with PowerShell and Azure tooling
- Apply Zero Trust principles and support security remediation with Microsoft Defender tools
- Support secure deployment of enterprise AI platforms (Copilot, Azure OpenAI)
- What You Bring 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, including 3+ years running production Azure environmentsSME-level Azure networking and strong enterprise networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Conditional Access
- Proficiency in PowerShell and an IaC tool (Bicep, ARM, or Terraform)
- Working knowledge of Defender, Zero Trust, and how enterprise AI tools access and secure company data
- Experience collaborating with MSPs and producing clear architecture documentation
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-700, AZ-305) a plus
